Against or for?

It is easy to be against something or someone.
I watch people use their energy to fight a system they don’t approve of.
Some are unhappy with their country’s political system and think that they would make wiser decisions. But they are not willing to take an active part in any political party.
Some think that their children’s education should be different, but they don’t engage in kindergarten or raise their hand when it comes to introducing new ideas.
Some miss some modern benefits at their employer‘s organization, but don’t seek the dialogue to suggest their improvements (or to understand why their idea would not work in that environment).
„But I don’t belong to that team“ or „but I don’t have the power to change anything myself“ are - sorry - just lame excuses of those who don’t want to take action. They choose comfort and passivity over work.
It helps to understand what you want to avoid or change in your life. It is even more helpful to create that change and design something better than the version you don’t like.
When I observe people complaining, I wonder:
What do they have to offer?
What do they stand for?
What ideas do they put into practice?
It is easy to say that you don’t like something.
What do you offer instead?
It is not just about dreaming about a better world, but more about putting something to action. Many people have big dreams or good intentions, but as long as they don’t move to action, it remains a dream.
The art is to design and do something where the outcome is better than what you complained about before.
So ...
What do you think, say, and do?
