Tough days

When I have a tough day, it is tough because I judged it that way.

When a day is challenging, I practice to refrain from labeling it.

For me that’s tough as well and I am mostly not successful. But I‘m getting there. With practice and patience.

Judging a tough day as tough doesn’t make it any better. It only takes more of my energy and focus on the negative part of the day.

I would not recommend labeling an awful day as great, because that feels like denying the truth. But it does make a difference to accept a challenging day without labeling it and tearing myself down any further.
